A few days ago, the 46th US International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2015) officially opened on January 6, local time. It is understood that the exhibition will last for four days and attract well-known consumer electronics manufacturers from all over the world. Many manufacturers will show off their latest products and technologies at the exhibition, which is really lively. This time, LED applications that frequently span multiple fields once again amazed the audience. Let’s take a look at the latest LED applications that have been launched!
Misfit releases smart light bulb Bolt
This smart light bulb is called Bolt, and it is very eye-catching at this CES show. It uses an LED light source, which is very similar to Philips Hue, and sells for only $50, which can be said to be very cheap. It can be directly connected to a smartphone through the Misfit app or wirelessly connected to home WiFi. The operation is very simple.
In addition, it can switch between different lighting scenes, adjust the brightness and color of the light source, and perform light source settings according to the different needs of users. When using multiple bulbs, different light sources can also be combined to diversify the lighting.
Cycling at night is safer, LED jacket appears at the exhibition
At this CES exhibition, Visijax brought to the majority of cycling enthusiasts an LED jacket that can protect the safety of cyclists when riding at night.
This nylon jacket is cleverly embedded with 23 LED lights, which are distributed on the arms, waist, chest, etc., and can provide corresponding warning messages when the rider turns or goes straight. Through simple actions such as raising your arm, you can control the LED warning light on and off. The light is very eye-catching. In the dark, it has a good warning effect and better protects the safety of cyclists. After five seconds of continuous flashing, the LED light will automatically turn off. In addition, it has a built-in rechargeable USB battery that can last up to 30 hours of use.
Lenovo launches ring-shaped selfie LED flash
As selfies become increasingly popular, the pixels of mobile phone front cameras are constantly improving, and various manufacturers have also launched many selfie accessories. At this CES exhibition, Lenovo, a major national brand, brought a very interesting ring-shaped LED flash product VIBE Xtension.
This LED flash is only the size of a keychain and has 8 built-in LED beads, which can be fixed to the headphone jack of your phone. It is powered by a built-in battery and can flash more than a hundred times on a single charge. It is designed for the new VIBE X2 Pro smartphone, but users of other Android phones can also install the companion app to use it. It is expected to be available in April this year, priced at $29.
Razer simplified version of smart bracelet Nabu X

OLED TVs and LED curved TVs compete for beauty
Many manufacturers have announced their withdrawal from the market due to the high price of OLED TVs and the difficulty in selling them. Among the major manufacturers, only LG is still persisting, setting off a market war between curved LED TVs and OLED TVs. The war has also continued to this year's CES exhibition.
LG has launched seven new 4K OLED TV products in one go, covering multiple sizes such as 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch. Among them, the 77-inch flexible 4K OLED TV model 77EG9900 is quite eye-catching.
According to reports, all LG’s 2015 4K OLED TVs use WRGB technology. Its pixel structure adds white sub-pixels, making the color gamut wider and the colors more realistic. LG’s Optimized True Color technology can also adjust color stability at any brightness, creating an excellent viewing experience with more natural and comfortable colors.
Haier continues to launch LED TVs. This time it brings a 105-inch LED "giant screen" curved TV with a resolution of 5120*2160.
The huge 105-inch concave screen can make every point on the screen reach the eye at an equal distance, eliminating visual distortion at the edge of the screen, creating a natural and comfortable look and feel. The ultra-wide screen allows viewers to watch images on both sides of the full screen without affecting the viewing of any images being played.
Everyone has his own money, who will buy it?
BMW new technology: laser lighting and OLED lights unveiled
At this CES show, BMW demonstrated a new laser lighting technology.
Currently, this new technology is used in the BMW M4 future lighting concept car. The original laser headlight beam range is up to 600 meters, and now it is combined with the BMW dynamic beam function (anti-glare high beam assist system). While the vehicle is driving, the blue polymerized monochromatic laser beam in the headlights is converted into strong white light similar to sunlight that is non-dazzling and non-irritating. Through extensive networking, the innovative laser source cooperates with other vehicle systems to achieve numerous smart lighting functions. The dynamic light spot of the laser headlight can detect people and animals up to 100 meters away in advance in a completely dark environment, and illuminate them in a directional manner through the laser dynamic light spot.
The taillights of the M4 use OLED lighting for the first time. Based on OLED technology, light is generated in an extremely thin semiconductor layer made of organic materials. OLED elements are extremely thin, take up little space, and unlike LEDs, which emit light in dots, OLEDs emit light uniformly across their entire surface. It is only 1.4 mm thick, and each module can be activated individually to produce different lighting effects.
